A poll from the Guardian Newspaper gave me:
49% of under 25s and 34% of under 35s have never written a cheque in their lives.
How weird is that? But that’s me, a 51 year old, who grew up in the 1970’s when there was about 100 cash machines in the whole of the UK and chip and pin was something you bought at the fish and chip shop on a Friday night.
The world changes, your customer changes under your feet. The younger generation, who may be your customers, don’t share your frame of reference.
The message is simple. Try and see things from a different frame of reference and your world will be more fulfilling.
