Do you work within a coaching culture?

Every company I work with, who want to improve their staff’s coaching techniques, tell me that they have a coaching culture within their firm.

How is this measured?  You can get a feel, maybe sniff it and your team members might say they are doing it.

But the best measurement is to determine whether:

  1. Staff ask for coaching from their managers
  2. Management do it i.e. coach
  3. Top management endorse it and promote it

Only then do you have a coaching culture.
