They say that the only way to distinguish yourself, to shine above all others, to be the “go to company” is to have outstanding customer service.
This is true but we all know this and companies across the world are striving to improve their customer experience and engagement. However the benchmark is being raised continually and now good customer care is expected.
In fact “assumed” is the lowest bottom rung level of customer care.
The next level is “expected”, in other words the customer has assumed they’re going to get a good service and they begin to expect it from you. And there’s more.
“Now you’re impressing me” comes next and you really have to sparkle to be at this level.
“Wow” is truly the pinnacle of customer care.
